Executive, Project Contracts (Pasir Gudang)

Type of Employment : Fixed term contract (12 months)

Job Description
Project Contract Management

• Establish and execute project contracts/subcontracts administration and deliverables in order to achieve overall project goals.

• Highlight and assess on project contract management matters for Project contract/subcontract teams towards making effective recommendation in order to achieve project results.

Project Pre Contract/Subcontract

• Establish and execute pre contract & subcontract formation ( Projects Main Contracts, JV/Consortium Contracts & Subcontracts during bidding [General Conditions, Special Conditions, flow down, lessons learned)

Project Post Contract/Subcontract

• Establish and execute post contract & subcontract management (Projects Main Contracts and JV/Consortium Contracts [management & administration until closeout], Subcontract [dispute resolution) .

• Develop and monitor the project contractual deliverables in accordance with contract requirement & MMHE’s Interest • Claims and validation (subject to respective position**)

a) Contact Executive – To prepare progress claim based on progress measurement or contract milestone basis up to invoicing submission to respective Client including establishing all relevant monitoring/tracking status.

b) Subcontract Executive – To evaluate and approve the Certificate of Progress Claim (CPC) submitted by Subcontractor in accordance with the Subcontract’s provision including establishing all relevant monitoring/tracking

Project Change Management

• Develop and Monitor the execution of Change management (tracking the progress and close out of change/variation orders) and Claims (disputed c laims, extens ion of time, acceleration, prolongation etc) which are critical to ensure the project risk and opportunities are mitigated/pursued as per contr act

Project Planning

• Understanding of project planning functions for Projects & Business operations in project scheduling, schedule monitoring, schedule reporting, schedule performance, schedule analysis & forecasting, schedule risk including validation of critical path, completion dates, project schedule baselining and communicating the schedule.

Project Cost

• Understanding of project cost estimating and budgeting functions in cost budgeting, cost monitoring, cost reporting, cost performance, cost analysis & forecasting, cost risk including validation of cost estimates (client & Contractors), time -cost trade off, project cost baselining

Job Requirements:
1. Degree in Engineering/Any equivalent Field
2. Experience in Project Control /Project Management of Heavy Engineering projects (EPCIC/EPCC/EPCI/EPC/ePC/epC)and communicating the budget
